THIS YEAR’S PROM KING, QUEEN, AND COURT WERE INTRODUCED ON SATURDAY, APRIL 18 DURING PROM 2009 “TROPICAL ELEGANCE”.  BOTH JUNIORS AND SENIORS PARTICIPATED IN THE FINAL VOTING.  THE RESULTS FOR 2009 ARE:  PROM KING LUKE HERMANN AND PROM QUEEN TAYLOR TROTTER.  CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR KING AND QUEEN AND TO ALL OF THE EXCEPTIONAL YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN WHO WERE A PART OF THIS YEAR’S PROM COURT.

MR. SEALS WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF THE STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE MID-ILLINI WELDING CONTEST HELD AT ILLINOIS CENTRAL COLLEGE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 17TH. ALL OF THE STUDENTS INVOLVED IN THIS YEARS CONTEST DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB REPRESENTING THEMSELVES AND LIMESTONE COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL.   LIMESTONE FINISHED IN FIRST PLACE OVERALL WITH 69 POINTS, AND RECEIVED 1ST PLACE METALS IN 6 OUT OF 8 CATEGORIES. ALL OF THE STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS YEARS CONTEST SCORED POINTS TO HELP IN THE OVERALL VICTORY FOR THE TEAM. MR. SEALS IS VERY PROUD OF ALL OF THE STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED AND WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE THEM FOR THEIR HARD WORK AND TREMENDOUS EFFORT.
